Pregnancy is lived in three trimesters, and labor in three stages. The fourth is what comes after: the first hours and weeks when a mother and her baby begin to know each other. It is the part most often overlooked, and it is why I chose this name. I walk with you through the first three, so that when your fourth arrives, I am not a stranger, but someone who already knows your story.
Your birth doula can be your postpartum doula. She was there. She knows your story.
A woman, for the woman: someone who has walked with you from the start, and knows you when you need her most.
Meet Nouama
I grew up in Morocco surrounded by birth and the beautiful tradition of women supporting one another through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Watching my mother and the women in my community taught me how meaningful this support can be. But I also witnessed how often women’s voices and wishes were overlooked during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Those experiences stayed with me and shaped my desire to support women through this important time in their lives. Today, as a doula, I want every woman to feel heard, respected, and supported, and to have the space to make informed decisions about her own birth.
This work is deeply personal to me because I feel that I owe women the care and support that every woman carrying life deserves. Becoming a doula is a meaningful milestone in my journey toward becoming a midwife, a dream I have carried for years. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and grateful that I can already begin making a difference in women’s lives while continuing to learn and grow.
I’m early on this path, and I will always be honest about that. What I bring is a full heart, a lot of learning, and deep respect for every mama I meet.

Birth and postpartum doulas provide non-medical support. I work alongside your midwife, OB, pediatrician, and lactation consultant, never in place of them.
